In Case You Missed It . . .
Here is a video of Sara on CMT Road Pranks that aired a couple days ago. She posed as a waitress (which she used to be!) in a local BBQ restaurant in her current home--Birmingham, Alabama!

Halloween/Christmas Updates
Looks like our Sara did a little Trick-or-Treating with her family and neighborhood friends. From her Twitter updates below, it looks like she even had her own costume!

[Sara pictured with daughter Audrey]
"At a Halloween party in our neighborhood... [son] Avery just played drums on his first song with a band! Yay!"

[Sara pictured with husband Jay Barker]
"You have the right to remain silent."

Sara also takes time to share some information about her digital Christmas EP, I'll Be Home For Christmas:

“It’s funny, as an adult, when you sing these songs, you really start to take a look at what the actual words are. Because as kids, you know, we memorize these songs, and we have no clue what it’s saying. These lyrics really mean something to me now, because I know exactly what the writer was trying to express. And so, all of the old hymns and old Christmas songs, especially the religious ones, are always my favorite because it’s very sacred, the lyrics to these songs, and what they’re talking about.”

Aside from the title track, the rest of the EP includes O Come All Ye Faithful, New Again (co-wrote/sings with Brad Paisley), and Go Tell It On The Mountain. Release date is set for November 3rd--digital downloads only.
