Craig Schelske, Sara's ex-husband, has been temporarily ordered to not "make any derogatory statements about Evans to the media or make allegations about what led to their divorce in the fall of 2007."

Reportedly, Schelske dug up old dirt when he told The Steve Gill Show (a nationally-syndicated radio program operating in Nashville) about the allegations one of Sara's lawyers made against him and his personal life during the nasty divorce proceedings a couple of years ago.

Once Sara caught wind, she filed a restraining order on the 24th in Williamson County Chancery Court (Franklin, Tennessee).

A court hearing is scheduled for March 15 to discuss if the order shall remain permanent.

I'm actually hoping the order does become permanent, because maybe then he'll put his and Sara's three kids first instead of his reputation. What if they would've tuned into that radio program? I can't even imagine the confusion those kids would have!

Update: Although it doesn't say, this could be a transcript of the radio interview that provoked Sara to file the TRO against Schelske.

A lot of visitors to the site have been referred here by Google search results of "Sara Evans New Album". Well, I'll let Sara herself explain what's going on with that!



And there you have it! Straight from her official twitter, she should be finishing with the final touches of her new album soon. Also, she has said a single should be ready to hit the airwaves soon.

This album should be one with substance, because Sara has stated "2010 is the year of music," and I think it'll be a good year for her!

Sara, with help from the Good News Rescue Mission organization, will help generate cash and food for the homeless in Redding, California, on March 3rd.

GNRM spokesman, Ron White, says, "Sara and her team have been so gracious. Her appearance and involvement will be such a shot in the arm for us this year. We are so grateful to have someone with her star power be so willing to help those in need."

(I'm not sure what the phrase "shot in the arm" means, but hopefully there will be no firearms involved.)
