Louisville, KY -- The Hullabalou Festival had a VERY special act today: Sara Evans!

To celebrate the event, local newspaper Courier-Journal conducted an interview with Sara that talks about her messy 2006 divorce, the new single "A Little Bit Stronger", her stint on Dancing with the Stars and more!

When Sara was asked how she felt about the song in relation to her nasty break-up from her first husband, she responds,

“I'm so far past that now, but it definitely spoke to me while I was going through all that. I was definitely hurting a ton. The lyrics are great. It's a break-up song, but it's very original. It can really be about any tragedy. This woman is hurting, but she's getting stronger by the day. It's kind of empowering.

Sirius Satellite Radio's Country channel, The Highway is the first radio station to broadcast Sara's upcoming single, "A Little Bit Stronger".

Although the release date isn't until the end of September, Sirius decided to take a chance and play it anyway, and I'll let a tweet from The Highway's twitter explain the rest:

@saraevansmusic @HighwayTweet on SIRIUS XM wants you to know we're playing Stronger and it's our most requested song. Period.

Did they not know this would happen!?

Upon reading the tweet, Sara replies,

This song is going to be huge, people. Keep your ears clean, because it's coming soon to a radio near you!

In a blog called A Mom Who Loves Reviews, Charlotte let's us know what she thinks of Sara's current book (Sweet By and By) after Thomas Nelson Publishing sends her a copy for review:

The Sweet By and By by Sara Evans is a book that I never thought I would like but I ended up loving the book. Have you ever tried to move on in your life without facing your past? I have done that several times in my life and it’s sometimes a little difficult to face the future and even the current events if your life because you sometimes are pushing away what has happened to your life in the past. I received “The Sweet’ By and By” written by Sara Evans from Thomas Nelson Publishing Group in order to help me write a review on this book. This book along is a wonderful book to read and definitely makes you rethink your life and the way it is heading. Sara Evans is A Best Selling Multi-Platinum Recording Artist in Country music and all of her songs have a story to tell of something that has happened in her life or something that she has a feeling will happen. This book is no different. It tells about Jade who is getting married whose life takes a turn for something that she never thought would happen. All of the events that comes up days before she is getting married has a heartfelt story to it.

I really enjoyed reading this book and had a hard time putting it down. I still have the book to this day sitting next to my bed for me to pick up and read if I get a chance to or when I am finished reading the other books that I am finished reading at the current time. I have already told others about this book and I hope that I will be able to read more books from Sara Evans soon! She’s gotten a talent not only for singing and writing songs but now has writing a book under her belt too. This book is available at Thomas Nelson online and also at Amazon.com. I highly recommend this book to those who are looking for a good book to sit down and read.

In order to gain some attention, Sara's ex-husband, Craig Schelske, has filed legal documents with a Tennessee court claiming Sara and current husband Jay Barker have been berating him in front of their three children and that Jay has been calling him possessed by Satan.

Ummm . . . LOL!

Craig claims, among other things, that Jay sent him the following via text message:

Satan is controlling your thoughts and actions. You are what Jesus stood against ... The things I have seen with my own mind is a man possessed by Satan ... Away from us Satan!!!

On July 12, Sara, (husband) Jay, and all seven kids were enjoying some vacation time in Grayton Beach, Florida!

While at the Red Bar, Sara and company were being entertained by the Dread Clampitt band and they invited her to sing!
