Great Hullabalou Fest Review
It's one thing to be a successful musician within a specific genre, and Sara definitely owns her part in Country music. But you're in a completely different league if you can pull people from outside the Country music genre and turn them into fans, which Sara also possesses that ability.

Check out the below review from Tarsha Smith, one of the Hullabalou Festival's attendants:

Determined to see Sara Evans the way most of HullabaLou's attendendees did, I climbed the three (or was it four?) levels to the general admission section in the stands. I found a spot pretty much dead center and was surprised that the view wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. She played the HullabaLou stage at 5:45 on Saturday. I've seen her videos on CMT and heard some of her music before, but I can't say that I own, or listen regularly, to any amount of country music. Still, I was unprepared for how great she sounds live, which, to me, is always an indicator of how good an artist is. Playing live is the litmus test by which I judge most of the musicians that I listen to and enjoy most, especially in a day when over-produced, and sometimes less talented acts are flooding our air ways.

Anyway, she sounded great. One thing I enjoyed was feeling the vibe of all of her fans and the zest with which they sang along with her. Being up in general admission brought a feeling of actually being at a sold out show and made me forget about the heat and all the walking I had yet ahead of me. She sang "Stronger" and "Suds in the Bucket", both of which I was gladly familiar with-it's always more fun to sing along-as well as a cover of "I Want You to Want Me". At the end, she tied everything up nicely with "As If" and "I Could Not Ask For More". I'm never going to be one of those cowboy boot/hat wearing chicks or someone who attends country music concerts, but I definitely enjoyed Sara's set and will continue to listen to her music. She's one talented lady.

Hullabalou Festival
Louisville, KY -- The Hullabalou Festival had a VERY special act today: Sara Evans!

To celebrate the event, local newspaper Courier-Journal conducted an interview with Sara that talks about her messy 2006 divorce, the new single "A Little Bit Stronger", her stint on Dancing with the Stars and more!

When Sara was asked how she felt about the song in relation to her nasty break-up from her first husband, she responds,

“I'm so far past that now, but it definitely spoke to me while I was going through all that. I was definitely hurting a ton. The lyrics are great. It's a break-up song, but it's very original. It can really be about any tragedy. This woman is hurting, but she's getting stronger by the day. It's kind of empowering.

It's Getting Sirius!

Sirius Satellite Radio's Country channel, The Highway is the first radio station to broadcast Sara's upcoming single, "A Little Bit Stronger".

Although the release date isn't until the end of September, Sirius decided to take a chance and play it anyway, and I'll let a tweet from The Highway's twitter explain the rest:

@saraevansmusic @HighwayTweet on SIRIUS XM wants you to know we're playing Stronger and it's our most requested song. Period.

Did they not know this would happen!?

Upon reading the tweet, Sara replies,

@HighwayTweet Oh my gosh! WOW! Thank you for playing it and thanks to everyone for requesting it! Xoxo!

This song is going to be huge, people. Keep your ears clean, because it's coming soon to a radio near you!
