| Sara Releases Third Book! | January 27th, 2012 | 0 Comments |

Sara once again teams up with co-author Rachel Hauck to release the third series in The Songbird Novels, "Love Lifted Me." Sara Evans really thinks you ought to read her latest book, Love Lifted Me, which she wrote with Rachel Hauck. It's the third in her series about the character Jade Benson. "If you haven't read the book, you need to go read it," she told CMT Radio. "It's very much a story about overcoming, forgiveness, redemption and really understanding the whole idea behind, 'Human beings will always let you down but God never will.'" She also says that her songs tell stories, but that the books do so in a different way, by looking backward while moving forward. "It's about chasing dreams, endless country roads, and tender faith," she said. Evans' own personal life has had its share of chasing dreams (and a few letdowns), so I'm sure she tells this story from her heart. To purchase, please click here. |

Kendra Wilkinson, former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, loves Country music. She's also a great judge of physical character! Why, you ask? Check out this quote from a recent interview Kendra had with CMT:9. "Sara Evans is, no joke, the most beautiful woman in the world. She's the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. And her butt? I've never seen a better butt than hers. And her 'Suds in the Bucket' really relates to my life. God, I love that song. That's my song." Sara responded via Twitter, "@kendrawilkinson I just heard what u said about me on CMT! You are so sweet! And talk about gorgeous!!! You are! Xoxo" Softly and Tenderly, Sara's second installment in the Jade Benson series, was just named one of 2011's Top Inspirational Books by the American Library Association. The book is about a woman who “married into a southern soap opera” that learns to forgive and trust, co-authored by Rachel Hauck. Sara says, "A song is very confining. It has to be three minutes, it has to rhyme, it has to make sense in such a short time. With a book, you can just do whatever. Absolutely anything you want to say or do or make happen to the character, you can do it. And there are no limits." "'A Little Bit Stronger' changed everything for me," Sara says. "The best part of getting to sing such an empowering song every night is that I get to hear people's stories about how this song has helped them through a difficult time." She adds, "I've always believed that music can heal hearts and this year, I've been able to hear about it first hand." Sara is the artist announced to perform at live at Taste of the NFL's “The Party with a Purpose,” a super bowl event. This charity raises money for food banks all across America, and Sara couldn't be more thrilled!“I’m very excited to be performing at the 2012 Taste of the NFL event,” said Sara Evans. “It’s a great evening for attendees and does so much to tackle the cause of hunger across America!” |
